Carlos Arvelo Guevara
Carlos Arvelo Guevara (born 1784, died 1852) was a prominent Venezuelan physician and military surgeon who made significant contributions to the field of medicine in the 19th century. He is best known for his work during the Venezuelan War of Independence, where he served as a military surgeon.

Carlos Arvelo Guevara was born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1784. He pursued his early education in his hometown before moving to Spain to study medicine at the University of Seville. After completing his studies, he returned to Venezuela and began his medical practice.

Arvelo Guevara's career was marked by his service as a military surgeon during the Venezuelan War of Independence.
