Carrollton
Carrollton is a city located in the U.S. state of Texas. It is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, a large metropolitan area in North Texas. Carrollton is known for its diverse population, strong economy, and excellent educational institutions.

Carrollton was first settled in the 1840s by English settlers and was incorporated as a city in 1913. The city was named after Carrollton, Illinois, the original home of many of its early settlers. Over the years, Carrollton has grown from a small farming community to a large, thriving city.

Carrollton is located in the northeastern part of Texas, in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The city is bordered by several other cities, including Farmers Branch, Addison, and Coppell. Carrollton's geography is characterized by flat plains and a warm, humid climate.
