Champagne Delamotte is a prestigious Champagne house located in the Champagne region of France. Established in 1760, it is one of the oldest Champagne houses and is renowned for its high-quality sparkling wines. The house is situated in the village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, which is part of the Côte des Blancs subregion, known for its exceptional Chardonnay vineyards.

Champagne Delamotte was founded by François Delamotte, a vineyard owner in Reims. Over the centuries, the house has maintained its reputation for producing elegant and refined champagnes. In 1988, Champagne Delamotte became part of the Laurent-Perrier group, which also owns the prestigious Champagne Salon.

The vineyards of Champagne Delamotte are primarily located in the Côte des Blancs, a region celebrated for its chalky soils and ideal conditions for growing Chardonnay grapes. The house sources its grapes from some of the finest Grand Cru vineyards, including Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, and Oger.

Champagne Delamotte specializes in producing Blanc de Blancs champagnes, which are made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. The house employs traditional methods of Champagne production, including hand harvesting, méthode champenoise, and extended aging on the lees to enhance the complexity and finesse of its wines.
