Chao Tzee Cheng

Chao Tzee Cheng (1934–1986) was a renowned forensic pathologist from Singapore. He was known for his significant contributions to the field of forensic science and his work on several high-profile cases in Singapore.

Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]

Chao was born in 1934 in Malaysia. He moved to Singapore for his education, where he attended Raffles Institution, one of the oldest and most prestigious schools in the country. After completing his secondary education, Chao went on to study medicine at the University of Malaya in Singapore.

After graduating from medical school, Chao joined the Singapore General Hospital as a pathologist. He later specialized in forensic pathology, a field that uses medical knowledge to aid legal investigations. Chao's expertise and meticulous work quickly earned him a reputation as one of the top forensic pathologists in Singapore.

Chao worked on several high-profile cases during his career, including the Adrian Lim murder case, one of the most infamous criminal cases in Singapore's history. His work was instrumental in securing the conviction of Lim and his accomplices.

In addition to his work in forensic pathology, Chao was also a respected educator. He taught at the National University of Singapore's medical school, where he inspired many students with his passion for forensic science.
