- Chappaqua, NY is a hamlet located in the town of New Town, Westchester County, New York. It is known for its picturesque setting and high-quality public schools. The hamlet is located in the northern part of Westchester County and is approximately 35 miles north of New York City.

- Chappaqua was founded by Quakers in the 1730s and was the home of Horace Greeley, New York Tribune editor and U.S. congressman. Today, it is known for its downtown area, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
