Jare Henrik Tiihonen, known professionally as Cheek, is a Finnish rapper and songwriter. He was born on December 22, 1981, in Lahti, Finland. Cheek rose to prominence in the Finnish music scene in the late 1990s and has since become one of the most successful hip hop artists in Finland.
Career[edit | edit source]
Cheek began his music career in 1998 and released his debut album Human & Beast in 2001. He gained mainstream success with his subsequent albums, including Kuka sä oot (2003) and Käännän sivuu (2005). Cheek's music is characterized by his distinctive flow and introspective lyrics.
In addition to his solo work, Cheek has collaborated with various artists in the Finnish music industry. He has also been involved in philanthropic efforts, supporting causes such as youth empowerment and mental health awareness.
