Cheyenne Jackson (born July 12, 1975) is an American actor and singer. He is known for his roles in Broadway musicals, his performances in film and television, and his work as a concert performer and recording artist.

Cheyenne David Jackson was born in Spokane, Washington. He was raised in Newport, Washington, a small town in the northeastern part of the state. Jackson developed an interest in acting and singing at a young age, inspired by his parents' love of music and theatre.

Broadway[edit | edit source]

Jackson made his Broadway debut in the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie in 2002. He gained wider recognition for his role as Chad in the 2005 musical All Shook Up, for which he received a Theatre World Award for Outstanding Broadway Debut. He has also starred in other notable Broadway productions such as Xanadu, Finian's Rainbow, and The Performers.

Jackson has appeared in several films, including United 93 and The Green. He is also known for his work on television, with notable roles in series such as 30 Rock, Glee, and American Horror Story. In 30 Rock, he played the recurring character Danny Baker, while in Glee, he portrayed Dustin Goolsby.
