Early Life and Education[edit]
Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu was born in Germany to Nigerian parents. He spent his early years in Nigeria, where he developed an interest in medicine and public health. Ihekweazu pursued his medical degree at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he graduated with honors. He later obtained a master's degree in public health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
