- Church Point, also known as "Le Point de l'Église" in French, is a small city located in Acadia Parish, Louisiana, United States. The city is known for its rich Cajun culture, friendly people, and the annual Buggy Festival.
Geography[edit | edit source]
- Church Point is located at 30°24′17″N 92°13′23″W. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.8 square miles (7.3 km²), all land.
Demographics[edit | edit source]
- As of the 2010 census, there were 4,560 people residing in the city. The racial makeup of the city was 67.0% White, 31.8% African American, 0.1% Native American, 0.1% Asian, 0.6% from other races, and 0.4% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.6% of the population.
