Clarke County is a county located in the U.S. state of Iowa. As of the 2020 census, the population was 9,286. The county seat is Osceola. The county was formed on January 13, 1846 and named after James Clarke, who was Governor of Iowa Territory.

Clarke County is located in the southern part of Iowa, with its county seat, Osceola, located along Interstate 35. The county has a total area of 432 square miles, of which 431 square miles is land and 1.2 square miles is water.
