- Coldwater is a village located in Mercer County, Ohio, United States. As of the 2010 census, the village had a total population of 4,482. The village is a part of the Celina Micropolitan Statistical Area.

- Coldwater was originally called Knittle's Station, and under the latter name was platted in 1859. The present name is for Coldwater Creek, which runs near the town site.

- Coldwater is located at 40°29′N 84°38′W (40.479, -84.633). According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.07 square miles (5.36 km2), all land.
