ConAgra Foods is an American packaged foods company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. The company was founded in 1919 and has since grown to become one of the largest food companies in the United States.

ConAgra Foods was originally established as Nebraska Consolidated Mills in Omaha, Nebraska in 1919. The company changed its name to ConAgra Foods in 1971. Over the years, ConAgra has acquired several other food companies, expanding its product line and market reach.

Products[edit | edit source]

ConAgra Foods produces and markets a wide range of food products, including frozen foods, snacks, and grocery products. Some of the company's most well-known brands include Healthy Choice, Hunt's, Orville Redenbacher's, and Slim Jim.

Operations[edit | edit source]

ConAgra Foods operates through two primary business segments: Consumer Foods and Commercial Foods. The Consumer Foods segment includes branded and private label food products which are sold in various retail and foodservice channels. The Commercial Foods segment includes commercially branded foods and ingredients, which are sold to foodservice, commercial and industrial customers.
