Congolese
Congolese refers to anything of, from, or related to the Democratic Republic of the Congo or the Republic of the Congo, two countries in central Africa. This term can refer to people, culture, cuisine, and more.

People from the Democratic Republic of the Congo or the Republic of the Congo are referred to as Congolese. The Democratic Republic of the Congo is the most populous officially Francophone country in the world, while the Republic of the Congo is also a member of the Francophonie.
Culture[edit | edit source]
Congolese culture includes a wide range of traditional music and dance, such as soukous and rumba. The culture is also known for its art, particularly its sculpture and painting.
Cuisine[edit | edit source]
Congolese cuisine varies widely, reflecting the country's ethnic diversity and history. Common ingredients include plantains, cassava, peanuts, chilli peppers, and palm oil. Popular dishes include moambe chicken, fufu, and pilau.
