Cook Out is a privately owned fast food restaurant chain primarily located in the Southern region of the United States. The company was founded in 1989 in Greensboro, North Carolina, and has since expanded to over 250 locations across 10 states.

Cook Out was established by Morris Reaves, who is the current owner and serves as the company's CEO. The first location was opened in Greensboro, North Carolina, and the chain has since expanded, primarily in the Southeast. The company is known for its drive-thru and walk-up service, with many locations also offering outdoor seating.

The menu at Cook Out is known for its variety of grilled items and "Cook Out Trays," which include a main item, two sides, and a drink. Main items include hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecue sandwiches, and chicken sandwiches. Side items include fries, hush puppies, and onion rings.
