Craig Carton
Craig Carton (born January 31, 1969) is an American radio personality best known for his work as a sports talk show host. He is currently the co-host of the WFAN morning show Carton and Roberts alongside Evan Roberts.

Craig Harris Carton was born in New Rochelle, New York. He attended Syracuse University, where he graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism. During his time at Syracuse, Carton began his career in radio, working at the university's radio station, WAER.

Early Career[edit | edit source]
Carton's early career included stints at various radio stations across the United States. He worked at WGR in Buffalo, New York, WWWE in Cleveland, Ohio, and WIP in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His unique style and engaging personality quickly garnered him a following.
Boomer and Carton[edit | edit source]
In 2007, Carton joined WFAN in New York City as the co-host of the Boomer and Carton morning show alongside former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason. The show became one of the most popular sports talk shows in the country, known for its humor, insightful sports commentary, and the chemistry between Carton and Esiason.
Legal Issues[edit | edit source]
In September 2017, Carton was arrested on charges of securities fraud and wire fraud. He was accused of running a Ponzi-like scheme to pay off gambling debts. In November 2018, Carton was found guilty and sentenced to three and a half years in prison. He began serving his sentence in June 2019 and was released in June 2020.
Return to Radio[edit | edit source]
After his release, Carton returned to WFAN in November 2020, co-hosting the afternoon drive show Carton and Roberts with Evan Roberts. The show has been well-received, and Carton has been open about his past legal issues and his efforts to raise awareness about gambling addiction.
Personal Life[edit | edit source]
Carton is married and has four children. He has been open about his struggles with gambling addiction and has become an advocate for responsible gambling. He has also been involved in various charitable activities, including his own foundation, the Tic Toc Stop Foundation, which aims to help children with Tourette syndrome.
