- Cutchogue is a hamlet located in the Town of Southold in Suffolk County, New York, United States. The community is part of the North Fork of Long Island. The name Cutchogue is derived from an Algonquin word meaning "principal place". Many of the local residents are descendants of the original settlers who founded the town in the 17th century.
