Daylight Donuts
Daylight Donuts is an international doughnut franchise based in the United States. The company was founded in 1954 in Tulsa, Oklahoma by Tommy and Lucille Day. The name "Daylight Donuts" was chosen to convey the hope and optimism of the early morning, as well as the freshness of the company's products.

The Days' original concept for Daylight Donuts was to create a premium quality doughnut mix, which they would then supply to small, independent doughnut businesses. The Days believed that by providing these businesses with a superior product, they could help them compete against larger, established doughnut chains. This concept proved successful, and by the mid-1960s, there were over 1,000 stores using the Daylight Donuts mix.
In the 1970s, the company began to evolve into a more traditional franchise model. Today, Daylight Donuts has over 1,000 locations worldwide, with stores in the United States, China, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries.

Daylight Donuts offers a wide variety of doughnuts, including traditional favorites like glazed doughnuts, cake doughnuts, and filled doughnuts. In addition to doughnuts, many Daylight Donuts locations also offer muffins, pastries, and other baked goods. Some locations also serve coffee and other beverages.

The company provides its franchisees with the proprietary Daylight Donuts mix, as well as training and support.
