Career[edit | edit source]

Bigtree began his career in television as a producer for the daytime talk show The Doctors. He later transitioned into documentary filmmaking, where he gained significant attention for his work on Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe. The film, which was directed by Andrew Wakefield, alleges a cover-up by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding the safety of vaccines.

Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe premiered in 2016 and quickly became a focal point for the anti-vaccine movement. The film was initially scheduled to be screened at the Tribeca Film Festival, but it was pulled from the lineup after public outcry and concerns about its scientific credibility.

Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN)[edit | edit source]

In 2016, Bigtree founded the Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN), an organization that promotes vaccine misinformation and advocates for parental choice in vaccination. ICAN has been involved in various legal actions against health agencies and has been a vocal critic of vaccine mandates.
