Delta Air Lines, Inc. is a major American airline, with its headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. It is one of the oldest airlines in the world and a founding member of the SkyTeam airline alliance. Delta operates over 5,400 flights daily and serves an extensive domestic and international network that includes over 325 destinations in more than 52 countries on six continents.

Delta Air Lines was founded on March 2, 1925, as a crop dusting operation known as Huff Daland Dusters, Inc. The company was later renamed Delta Air Service, with its first passenger flights beginning in 1929. Over the decades, Delta expanded through various mergers and acquisitions, including the notable merger with Northwest Airlines in 2008, which made it the world's largest airline at the time.

Delta's primary hub is Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, which is the world's busiest airport by passenger traffic.
