Plot

Frank Conner is a dedicated police officer whose son, Matt, is dying from leukemia. After exhaustive searches, Conner finds out that Peter McCabe, a convicted murderer with no regard for human life, is a perfect bone marrow match for his son. Conner arranges for McCabe to be transferred to a hospital to perform the transplant. However, McCabe sees this as an opportunity to escape and takes hostages in the hospital. Conner must navigate the moral dilemma of saving his son's life at the potential cost of letting a dangerous criminal go free.
