Dixon County, Nebraska

Dixon County is a county located in the U.S. state of Nebraska. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population was 6,000. Its county seat is Ponca. The county was established in 1858 and named after a local resident, John Dixon.

Dixon County is located in the northeastern part of Nebraska, with a total area of 483 square miles, of which 476 square miles is land and 7.2 square miles is water.
