Doctors Support Network
Doctors Support Network (DSN) is a peer support group for doctors and medical students in the United Kingdom who have been affected by mental health issues. It is a registered charity and operates as a confidential, self-help, mutual support organization.

The Doctors Support Network was established in 1996 by a group of doctors who had experienced mental health issues. The aim was to provide a safe, confidential space for doctors and medical students to share their experiences and offer each other support.
Function[edit | edit source]
The DSN provides a range of services to its members, including an online forum, regular meetings, and a telephone helpline. The organization also works to raise awareness of mental health issues within the medical profession and advocates for better support and treatment for doctors.
Membership[edit | edit source]
Membership of the DSN is open to all doctors and medical students in the UK who have experienced mental health issues. The organization currently has over 1,000 members.
Impact[edit | edit source]
The work of the DSN has been recognized by the General Medical Council and the British Medical Association, and it has been instrumental in changing attitudes towards mental health within the medical profession.
