Doppelganger (Arrow)
Doppelganger is the fifteenth episode of the sixth season of the American television series Arrow, and the 130th episode overall. The episode was directed by Kristin Windell and written by Speed Weed and Oscar Balderrama. It originally aired on The CW on March 8, 2018.
Plot[edit | edit source]
The episode begins with Oliver Queen receiving a call from Captain Quentin Lance informing him that Roy Harper has been found alive. Roy, who had previously faked his death, is being held captive by corrupt police officers working for Ricardo Diaz. Oliver, along with John Diggle, Felicity Smoak, and the rest of Team Arrow, sets out to rescue Roy.
Meanwhile, Laurel Lance, who is posing as her Earth-1 counterpart, is struggling with her identity and the expectations placed upon her by the public and her father, Quentin. She is also being manipulated by Diaz, who uses her to further his own agenda.
As Team Arrow works to free Roy, they face numerous obstacles, including a confrontation with Diaz's henchmen and a tense standoff with the corrupt police officers. During the rescue mission, Oliver and his team must also deal with internal conflicts and trust issues that have been brewing within the group.
In the end, Team Arrow successfully rescues Roy, but not without consequences. The episode concludes with Oliver realizing that Diaz's influence is more widespread than he initially thought, setting the stage for future confrontations.
