Dr. Alban is a Swedish-based musician and producer with Nigerian roots, whose real name is Alban Uzoma Nwapa. Born on August 26, 1957, in Oguta, Nigeria, he rose to fame in the early 1990s with his music, which blends Eurodance, reggae, and dancehall elements. Dr. Alban is best known for his hit singles "It's My Life" and "Sing Hallelujah," which became major hits across Europe and the world.
