The East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust was established on 1st April 2009, following the merger of the East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust and the Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The trust is one of the largest in England and serves a population of around 759,000 people across its five hospital sites.
