Elbląg County

Elbląg County (Polish: powiat elbląski ) is a unit of territorial administration and local government in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship of northern Poland. It was established on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. The administrative seat of the county is the city of Elbląg, although the city itself is not part of the county (it constitutes a separate city county).

Elbląg County is located in the northern part of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. It borders the Vistula Lagoon to the north and is characterized by a mix of urban and rural areas. The county covers an area of 1,430.89 square kilometers.
