Local government
Local government refers to the lowest tier of administration within a given state. This form of government is tasked with managing and overseeing the affairs of specific localities such as cities, towns, counties, or districts. Local government is distinct from national government and regional government, which manage affairs at a country-wide and regional level respectively.
