Elisabeth of Romania (Elisabeth Charlotte Josephine Alexandra Victoria; 29 October 1894 – 14 November 1956) was a member of the House of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen by birth and became the Queen consort of Romania through her marriage to King Carol II of Romania. She was the mother of King Michael I of Romania.

Elisabeth was born on 29 October 1894 at Peleș Castle in Romania. She was the daughter of Ferdinand I of Romania and Marie of Romania.
Marriage and Family[edit | edit source]
Elisabeth married King Carol II of Romania and they had one son, King Michael I of Romania.
Later Life and Death[edit | edit source]
Elisabeth passed away on 14 November 1956 in Fois, Switzerland.
