Elizabeth Medora Leigh (1814–1849) was the illegitimate daughter of Augusta Leigh and possibly Lord Byron. She was born in London and spent her early years in the care of her mother. Elizabeth Medora Leigh was born in 1814 in London, England. Her mother, Augusta Leigh, was the half-sister of the renowned poet Lord Byron. There has been speculation that Lord Byron may have been Elizabeth's father, although this has never been definitively proven.

Augusta Leigh was the daughter of Sir Ralph Milbanke and Judith Noel, making her Lord Byron's half-sister. Lord Byron and Augusta had a close relationship throughout their lives, leading to rumors of a romantic involvement between them.
