Elliot Reid is a fictional character from the American television series Scrubs, portrayed by Sarah Chalke. She is a doctor and one of the main characters of the series.

Elliot Reid was born to Simon and Lily Reid. She comes from a wealthy family and had a privileged upbringing. Despite her family's wealth, Elliot has a strained relationship with her parents, particularly her father, who is a strict and demanding figure.

Elliot attended Brown University for her undergraduate studies and later graduated from Harvard Medical School. She began her medical career as an intern at Sacred Heart Hospital, where she met and formed close relationships with John Dorian, Christopher Turk, and Carla Espinosa.
