FDU-NNE1
FDU-NNE1 is a synthetic cannabinoid that is an indole derivative closely related to the better known drug FDU-PB-22. It is one of a number of synthetic cannabinoids that have been sold as legal highs around the world since the early 2000s.
Chemistry[edit | edit source]
FDU-NNE1 is a synthetic cannabinoid that is an indole derivative. It is structurally related to other synthetic cannabinoids like FDU-PB-22 and NM-2201. The chemical structure of FDU-NNE1 includes a naphthoyl group, which is a common feature in many synthetic cannabinoids.
Pharmacology[edit | edit source]
Like other synthetic cannabinoids, FDU-NNE1 is believed to act as a potent agonist at the CB1 receptor and CB2 receptor in the endocannabinoid system, which are the same receptors that THC, the main active component of cannabis, binds to. However, the exact pharmacological properties of FDU-NNE1 are not well studied, and its potency and selectivity for the CB1 and CB2 receptors, as well as any potential toxicity, are not known.
Legal status[edit | edit source]
The legal status of FDU-NNE1 varies by country. In many countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, and many European countries, FDU-NNE1 is a controlled substance due to its similarity to other synthetic cannabinoids which have been associated with serious health risks. However, in some countries, FDU-NNE1 may still be legal to buy and sell.
