Farley's Candy Company was originally established in 1866 by Charles H. Farley in Chicago, Illinois. It started as a small candy store and gradually expanded its operations. Sathers Candy Company, on the other hand, was founded in 1936 by John Sather in Round Lake, Minnesota. It started as a small family-owned business, producing and selling candies locally. With time, Sathers Candy Company grew and became a prominent player in the confectionery market.
In 2002, Farley's Candy Company and Sathers Candy Company merged to form Farley's & Sathers Candy Company. This merger brought together two well-established brands and expanded the company's product portfolio.
