Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMinna) is a prominent public university located in Minna, Nigeria. Established in 1983, it has grown to become one of the leading institutions of higher learning in Nigeria, focusing on technological education and research. The university commenced academic activities in 1983 at the Bosso Campus, with a few undergraduate programs in the School of Science and Science Education. Over the years, it has expanded into two campuses: the Bosso Campus and the Gidan Kwano Campus, which is the main campus.

The Gidan Kwano campus, which is the main campus, is located about 10 kilometers from the city center of Minna, and it houses the majority of the colleges and administrative buildings. Admission to FUTMinna is competitive and requires candidates to have excellent grades in the West African Examination Council (WAEC) or its equivalent and to score above the minimum cut-off mark in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Additionally, candidates must pass the university's post-UTME screening.
