Fibrolamellar

Fibrolamellar is a rare form of liver cancer that typically affects young adults and is characterized by distinctive histological features. Unlike most forms of liver cancer, fibrolamellar is not associated with cirrhosis or hepatitis.

Symptoms

Diagnosis

Treatment

The primary treatment for fibrolamellar is surgical resection of the tumor. In some cases, chemotherapy or radiation therapy may also be used. The prognosis for fibrolamellar is generally better than for other forms of liver cancer, although the disease can still be difficult to treat.
