Ficus dammaropsis, commonly known as the highland breadfruit, is a species of fig in the family Moraceae. It is native to the highlands of New Guinea and is notable for its large leaves and edible fruit.

Ficus dammaropsis is a large shrub or small tree that can grow up to 10 meters in height. The leaves are among the largest in the genus Ficus, reaching up to 1 meter in length and 0.5 meters in width. The leaves are deeply lobed and have a rough texture. The fruit is a large, round, greenish-yellow fig that can be up to 20 centimeters in diameter. The fruit is edible and is often used in local cuisine.

Ficus dammaropsis is found in the montane forests of New Guinea, typically at elevations between 1,200 and 2,700 meters. It prefers moist, well-drained soils and is often found along streams and in other wet areas.
