Financial is a term that refers to matters related to the management, creation, and study of money and investments. It is a broad term that can encompass a variety of aspects, including personal finance, corporate finance, and public finance.

Personal finance involves all financial decisions and activities of an individual or household, including budgeting, insurance, mortgage planning, savings, and retirement planning.

Corporate finance deals with the financial activities of corporations. This includes the decision to invest the firm's funds in assets and projects, the decision on the best ways to finance these investments, and the decision on how much and in what form to return funds back to the owners of the firm.

Financial services are the economic services provided by the finance industry, which encompasses a broad range of businesses that manage money, including credit unions, banks, credit-card companies, insurance companies, accountancy companies, consumer-finance companies, stock brokerages, investment funds, individual managers, and some government-sponsored enterprises.
