Fluquières

Fluquières is a commune in the Somme department in Hauts-de-France in northern France.

Fluquières is situated on the D930 road, some 30 miles (48 km) southeast of Amiens.

Population[edit | edit source]

As of 2006, the population of Fluquières was 214. The inhabitants are known as Fluquiérois.

History[edit | edit source]

Fluquières has a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages. It was originally a part of the County of Vermandois, which was a fiefdom of the Kingdom of France.

Sights[edit | edit source]

The commune is home to the Church of Saint Martin, a historical monument that dates back to the 12th century.
