Listed Building – Grade II

The Frances Jane Longden Almshouses were erected in 1852 in Bramcote, Nottinghamshire, England. They were built by Frances Jane Longden, the sister of John Sherwin Gregory of Bramcote Manor, to provide accommodation for four poor women of the parish. The almshouses were endowed with a weekly allowance of two shillings and two tons of coal per year for each resident. The datestone on the building bears the inscription "Almshouses erected by Frances Jane Longden 1852". The almshouses are located at the top of Cow Lane in Bramcote.

In 1984, the almshouses were restored by Broxtowe Borough Council. Ownership of the almshouses was transferred to Nottingham Community Housing Association in 2007, leading to the closure of the independent charity that previously managed the housing.
