Frank Potts (1815–1890) was a pioneering winemaker and viticulturist in South Australia, best known as the founder of Bleasdale Vineyards, one of the oldest wineries in the Langhorne Creek region. Frank Potts was born in 1815 in England. At a young age, he joined the Royal Navy, serving for several years before deciding to emigrate to Australia in search of new opportunities. In 1836, Potts arrived in South Australia, a colony that was then less than a year old.
