Freimarkt
Freimarkt is an annual fair held in Bremen, Germany. It is one of the oldest fairs in Germany, with a history dating back to 1035. The event takes place over 17 days in October and is one of the largest fairs in the country, attracting millions of visitors each year.

The Freimarkt was first mentioned in a document from 1035, making it one of the oldest fairs in Germany. Originally, it was a market where merchants could trade goods without paying customs duties, hence the name "Freimarkt" which translates to "Free Market." The Freimarkt is held at the Bürgerweide, a large open space near the Bremen Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Additional events and attractions are also located in the nearby Bremen city center.
