Fusagasugá is a town and municipality in the Cundinamarca Department of Colombia. It is located in the Sumapaz Province, approximately 59 kilometers from the nation's capital, Bogotá. The town is known for its favorable climate and rich agricultural lands, particularly its production of orchids and coffee.

The area now known as Fusagasugá was originally inhabited by the Sutagao people, an indigenous group in Colombia. The town was officially founded on February 5, 1592, by Spanish conquistador Hernán Pérez de Quesada.
