Gep - human gna12 wild type allele is located in the vicinity of 7p22.2 and is approximately 116 kb in length. This allele, which encodes guanidine nucleotide binding protein subunit alpha 12 protein, plays a role in both cellular adhesion and sperm tail maturation.
