- Garwood is a borough in Union County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 4,226, reflecting an increase of 73 (+1.8%) from the 4,153 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn declined by 74 (-1.8%) from the 4,227 counted in the 1990 Census.

- Garwood is located at 40°39′00″N 74°19′36″W (40.650000, -74.326667). According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough had a total area of 0.664 square miles (1.720 km2), all of which is land.

- As of the 2010 United States Census, there were 4,226 people, 1,693 households, and 1,173 families residing in the borough.
