Gavin Kaysen (born May 15, 1979) is an American chef and restaurateur known for his work in the culinary arts. He is the owner and executive chef of several acclaimed restaurants in the United States. Kaysen has received numerous awards and accolades for his contributions to the culinary world.

Gavin Kaysen was born in Thousand Oaks, California. He developed an interest in cooking at a young age and pursued his passion by enrolling in culinary school. Kaysen attended the New England Culinary Institute in Vermont, where he honed his skills and gained a solid foundation in the culinary arts.

Kaysen began his professional career working in various renowned kitchens across the United States and Europe. He gained significant experience and recognition while working at Daniel, a Michelin-starred restaurant in New York City, under the mentorship of Daniel Boulud.

In 2014, Kaysen opened his first restaurant, Spoon and Stable, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The restaurant quickly gained popularity and received critical acclaim for its innovative menu and exceptional service. Following the success of Spoon and Stable, Kaysen opened several other restaurants, including Bellecour in Wayzata, Minnesota, and Demi in Minneapolis.
