- Grand Mound is a community and census-designated place (CDP) in Thurston County, Washington, United States. It is located about 25 miles southwest of Olympia, the state capital. The population was 2,981 at the 2010 census.

- Grand Mound takes its name from a natural feature located on the eastern edge of the community, a 275-foot-high glacial mound. The area was first settled in the 1850s and has grown into a thriving community.

- Grand Mound is located in the western part of Washington state, in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. It is situated in the southern part of Thurston County, near the border with Lewis County.
