Green Lane, Pennsylvania
Green Lane, Pennsylvania is a borough located in Montgomery County, in the United States. As of the 2010 census, the borough had a population of 500, making it the least populous borough in Montgomery County.

Green Lane was incorporated as a borough in 1875 from parts of Marlborough Township. The borough was named after the Green Lane, a historical road that was used during the Revolutionary War.
Geography[edit | edit source]
Green Lane is located at 40°20′46″N 75°28′7″W. According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 0.3 square miles, all of it land. The borough is surrounded by Marlborough Township and is located in the upper Perkiomen Valley.
Demographics[edit | edit source]
As of the 2010 census, there were 500 people, 201 households, and 130 families residing in the borough. The population density was 1,667.0 people per square mile. The racial makeup of the borough was 97.6% White, 0.8% African American, 0.2% Native American, 0.4% Asian, and 1.0% from two or more races.
Education[edit | edit source]
Green Lane is served by the Upper Perkiomen School District. Students in grades K-5 attend Marlborough Elementary School, while students in grades 6-8 attend Upper Perkiomen Middle School, and students in grades 9-12 attend Upper Perkiomen High School.
Notable people[edit | edit source]
- John F. Hunsicker, former Pennsylvania State Representative and Senator, was born in Green Lane.
