Greg Hunt
Greg Hunt is an Australian politician who has been a prominent figure in the Liberal Party of Australia. He served as the Minister for Health and Aged Care in the Australian Government, a position he held from January 2017 until May 2022. Prior to this, Hunt had a significant role in environmental policy, serving as the Minister for the Environment from September 2013 to January 2017.

Greg Hunt was born on November 18, 1965, in Melbourne, Victoria. He pursued higher education at the University of Melbourne, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Following this, Hunt was a Fulbright Scholar and attended Yale University in the United States, where he completed a Master of Arts in Political Science.

Hunt's political career began when he was elected to the House of Representatives for the seat of Flinders in Victoria in 2001. Over his career, he has been involved in various portfolios, but his work in environmental and health sectors has been the most notable.

As the Minister for the Environment, Hunt was instrumental in repealing the carbon tax, a controversial measure in Australian politics.
