Guthrie's is a fast-food restaurant chain based in Alabama, United States. The chain specializes in fried chicken and is known for its signature sauce. The first Guthrie's restaurant was opened in Haleyville, Alabama in 1965 by Hal Guthrie, making it one of the oldest chicken restaurant chains in the nation.

Hal Guthrie graduated from Auburn University in 1965, and upon graduation, he decided to open a restaurant in Haleyville, Alabama. The original restaurant was a drive-in that served a wide variety of food. However, in 1978, Guthrie decided to change the restaurant's focus to primarily serve fried chicken, which was becoming increasingly popular at the time.

The menu at Guthrie's primarily consists of fried chicken fingers, which are served with the restaurant's signature sauce. Other items on the menu include fries, coleslaw, and Texas toast. The restaurant also offers a variety of drinks, including soft drinks and iced tea.

In the 1980s, Guthrie's began to expand beyond Haleyville. The first franchised location was opened in Auburn, Alabama in 1982. Since then, the chain has grown to include over 25 locations in several states, including Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee.
