Hải Dương
Hải Dương is a city in the Red River Delta of northern Vietnam. It is the capital of Hải Dương Province and is located midway between Hanoi and Hai Phong.

Hải Dương, historically known as Bình La, has a history that dates back over a thousand years. The city was an important center during the Lý Dynasty and Trần Dynasty, and it was the capital of Vietnam during the Later Lê Dynasty.
Geography[edit | edit source]
Hải Dương is located in the Red River Delta, a flat, fertile region that is one of the most densely populated areas in Vietnam. The city is surrounded by a network of rivers and canals, which provide irrigation for the region's rice paddies.
Economy[edit | edit source]
The economy of Hải Dương is diverse, with industries ranging from agriculture and aquaculture to manufacturing and services. The city is known for its production of lychee and other fruits, as well as for its seafood industry.
