Hadassah Lieberman
Hadassah Lieberman is an American lobbyist and activist, best known for her work in health issues, particularly those related to women's health and cancer research. She is also widely recognized as the wife of Joseph Lieberman, a former United States Senator from Connecticut and the Democratic Party's nominee for Vice President in the 2000 election.

Hadassah Freilich Lieberman was born on March 28, 1948, in Prague, Czechoslovakia, to Holocaust survivors. Her family emigrated to the United States when she was a child, settling in Gardner, Massachusetts. She pursued her higher education in the United States, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Dramatics from Boston University and a Master's degree in International Relations from Northeastern University.
